here's a new one. i'm blogging this from deep within parliament hill, in the aboriginal people's room, which is a popular meeting room for a variety of parliamentary committees. i'm attending the annual conference of RESULTS canada, held each year in parliament so that we can hobnob with MPs.

two days of speakers and planning, and then we are taking over the hill Monday and swamping MPs with our message.

last year our lobbying government RESULTed in 550 millions dollars directed towards TB, malaria, HIV/AIDS, water, sanitation, and hygiene, all of which are the major causes of childhood death worldwide. 550 million. that's a lot better than you and me donating 20 or 50 bucks.

hundreds of thousands of lives will be saved by this.
